In this study, presented at ECLAS 2025, we explore how Dutch (agri)cultural landscapes are continuously shaped through human–geological interactions. from land reclamation and water management to the formation of taskspaces that define identity, governance, and ecological transformation in the Delta.
Venart and Naghibi argue that these landscapes are not static heritage, but living palimpsests that evolve through collective labour, adaptation, and care; especially in the face of climate change.
