Francesca is an architect and urban designer with over ten years of experience spanning regional planning, urban design, and architectural-scale projects. Her work investigates the relationships between politics, economics, polluted landscapes, and the built environment, with a focus on situated forms of urban design in environmentally fragile territories.
She is currently a researcher in the Redesigning Deltas project at TU Delft, where her research addresses space, ecology, culture, and politics in highly dynamic delta landscapes. Alongside academia, she works independently for public and private clients in Italy and the Netherlands.
