On Oct. 24 (from 4 p.m.), Just Peace was joined by a group of researchers, activists and changemakers at the Museon-Omniversum, including PhD candidate Istiaque Ahmed. They explored stories of hope in times of adversity and gain inspiration on how to address climate change: the most important issue of our time.
With climate change, it can be easy to lose hope and become despondent. Just Peace is collaborating with the Museon-Omniversum on an inspiring evening of stories to inspire hope in times of adversity. On Oct. 24 (starting at 4 p.m.), a group of researchers, activists and changemakers inspired participants with stories from their own work in the fight against climate change.
In addition to inspiring stories, there was be an opportunity to visit the Museon-Omniversum’s family-friendly “One Planet NOW” exhibition, which explores how we can help reduce carbon emissions in our everyday lives. The activity also took the opportunity to celebrate Just Peace Month 2022 and launch the new Just Peace platform for The Hague.
