Shuyu Zhang is a PhD candidate in the Section of Urban Design of the Department of Urbanism at TU Delft.
Her research project focuses on social media’s impact on urban environment and aims to shed light on the complex challenges around urban regeneration with more accurate data support. Her main interests include urban regeneration analytics, data analysis, placemaking, environmental psychology, environmental behavior, public participation, and data-driven urban design. Shuyu worked as an architect at ECADI in Shanghai and holds a master’s degree in Architecture from Tongji University.
