An introduction to basic techniques of morphological and typological analysis, including 40 essential examples.
In our university and practice, urban analysis is an integral part of the work for both architects and urban designers. The aim of this book is twofold: the first part aims to provide students with a basic understanding of the history of typo-morphological analysis and presents some elementary techniques. The second part of the book presents analysis from a variety of times, places, and traditions, providing a context for many examples that were produced in the Netherlands.
